My name is Sam and I founded I Do Ink LLC in 2026. Originally from Illinois, I moved to Iowa for college- attending Cornell college and the University of Iowa for Psychology/Human Relations and Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I became an Iowa "transplant" once I took a job​ as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, where I help individuals overcome limitations to obtain their dream job through training/education/employment skill building. I LOVE what I do, but I just never got over the wedding planning bug after my own 2024 wedding (peep one of our gorgeous wedding photos below!). As a Type A Beaver (married to a Type B Lion), I love to get creative with DIYs while maintaining a strict color coded organization method. I Do Ink LLC is the best of both worlds where I get to connect with couples to curate their dream party vibe while ensuring everything is organized perfectly to prevent any stress!

​When I'm not helping clients return to the workforce or curating a couple's Tattoo Lounge for their wedding, I love a good romantasy novel, a sweet treat (a 7 Brew hates to see me coming), playing Pokemon Go, collecting dice for a D&D game my husband hasn't quite roped me into yet, and doing literally anything with our Australian Kelpie named Ash.
